SVR Chinmaya School

• The campus is situated in the busy area of HSR layout, Bangalore. The buildings are built in L shape with easy access to the main road. The entrance will take you to lobby and further the area is completely pavered for assembly sessions in school. Followed by a huge mud playground and the campus ends with a basketball court and skating rink. Huge trees are towards to the side of the playground which give shade for students to sit on the benches facing the ground.
• The buildings are built in mind to ensure maximum light and air towards the classroom. The windows enable clear visibility in and out of the classroom.
• The aim of the school it to not just score good marks in examination but also a student should develop into a well-rounded individual.
• Educomp online content streaming through latest projectors onto the smart boards will aid the teacher to explain concepts with more clarity.
• Learning with materials, math & science tools, experiments, doing projects and access to online content will be made to ensure learning is independent, collaborative and interactive.

• Our priority is to make the learning environment a happy place where students want to come eagerly to school. The environment should make the children safe and belonging. We value students with different backgrounds, abilities and ethnicity.
• Physical education is included from primary section. Running around in the huge playground is the favourite for many students.
• A sand pit for primary students is provided with Play equipment’s such as see saw, slide, swings and merry go round in sand pit.This place is a huge draw among younger students.
• The playground allows students to play volleyball, kho-kho, badminton, football, throwball and other games. Basketball court and skating rink are used most of the times during the sports time and also preferred among all students.
• Sports develop the physique of the students and the competitive sportive spirit is also achieved with playing games.
• Teachers are the link to learning. They facilitate, encourage, empower the students in the journey of learning. The teachers instil confidence, courage in children to explore learning possibilities.
• Holistic development is achieved through many practises for the child to use critical thinking, use of logic, practise integrity and ethical values, become responsible, be curious, happy and a good citizen of the world.
• Assembly time in the morning is performed with a school prayer and also wishing students on their birthdays. All students are part of the assembly with a sense of togetherness.
• School buses are safe and fitted with GPS and Camera inside the bus. A female attender is present in the bus to accompany students during the journey.
• Lunch time brings all students together after the morning session. It brings cheers to students to share time during meals.
• Annual day is conducted every alternate year where students dance, sing and act for many songs for a theme. Students practise for more than a month with enthusiasm to perform in-front of parents.
• Annual sports day is conducted every alternate year where all students participate in sports and games. Four groups (Vayu, Agni, Jal and Pruthvi) are formed with students to achieve top place with participation in all games.
• Karate classes are held for all students to encourage self-defence and courage.
• Yoga classes are held regularly for a sound mind and body.
• Piano classes are held in school regularly as music is language everyone can understand.
• Field trips to many important places are undertaken for a learning outcomeand an experience to remember and cherish.
• Our campus is secured with CCTV and security guards. All classrooms are fitted with two-way communicative speakers and mic.
• Sick room is made available to students and staff for emergency purpose.
